About MeSo, who IS this JimPrice.Com guy, and why does he have this site anyway? Well, quite honestly, this site started in 1994 as a page of links that were interesting to me, and that I was saving on my desktop. Somewhere along the way, I got the idea of registering the domain name, and, well, it kinda grew from there. So who am I, and what do I do? I live in Dallas, and
am a software engineer and project manager.
I've done other sorts of engineering,

A number of years ago (when it was new enough to be novel and cool), I bought a Connectix QuickCam and of course, felt compelled to conduct the usual experiment in self-photography. After a bit of fun in Corel Draw, here's how it turned out:
As you can see from the composite shot of my living room (below), I like the artwork of M.C. Escher . Here's an ftp site where you can find more Escher. Here's another place. Of course, these days, who cares about a grainy, fisheyed black-and-white photo, since you can get mega-high-resolution color digital cameras for cheap almost anywhere. Of course, someone once said that black-and-white IS more artistic. :) Speaking of digital cameras... these days, I shoot Nikons for fun, and every now and then, I post a few shots to my Flickr! page.
